The Deschutes River Conservancy (DRC) is a unique partnership between federal, state, local and Tribal interests that has worked to restore stream flow and improve water quality in the Deschutes Basin of Oregon since 1996. The Deschutes Water Exchange serves the DRC's objective of implementing targeted and innovative transaction-based approaches to the voluntary reallocation of water to instream uses.
